Nutrition!
The Senior Nutrition Program consists of both Congregate and Home-delivered Nutrition Services to help increase the nutrient intake of older individuals who might not eat adequately, and through better nutrition, assist them to remain healhy and independant in their communities. The client base is senior citizens over 60+, unless a person younger and accompanied by a senior. Hot meals are served from three senior centers five days a week(in Aberdeen, Hoquiam, and Elma), and also to Home Deliver. One day a week, hot meals are taken to Oakville and McCleary. Frozen meals are delivered to clients that are outside the city limits and in the North and South Beach areas as well.

Food Assistance
CCAP
is the lead agency for TEFAP(The Emergency Food
Assistance Program through the U.S. Department
of Agriculture), EFAP(Emergency Food Assistance
Program through WA State Commerce) and CSFP(Commodities
Supplemental Food Program through the U.S. Department
of Agriculture). In collaboration with the Distribution
Center, CCAP assists foodbanks in Grays Harbor
and Pacific County supply food to households in
need.
